Virginia 'Aunt B' Stuebe

    Virginia M. “Aunt B” Stuebe, 95, of Catlin, passed away on November 18, 2022. She was born on July 9, 1927 in Danville to Walter and Freda (Sy) Stuebe.
     She is survived by a nephew, David Divan; nieces, Julie (Steve) Mercer, Nicole (Drew)Nolan,  Jane Parker, and Judy Cline; as well as Daniel Boyd, Sr. Daniel (Bree) Boyd, Jr.  She was preceded in death by three sisters, Maxine Reich, Fern Cline, and Winifred “Wini” Divan, and her Dear Friend, Norma Patten.
     Virginia was known as “Aunt Bea” to most that knew her. She worked at GE for 42 years until her retirement. She enjoyed sports, especially her beloved Illini, being outdoors, and spending time with her family.
     A Celebration of life for Virginia “Aunt B” Stuebe will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846.  Pastor Kent Tibben will officiate. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 12PM prior to the services at the funeral home.
