On June 6, 1993, Larry was united in marriage to Susan Kae Hart, whom he lovingly called “His Girlfriend” throughout their marriage.  They had many special family and friends with them at their wedding, as well as twenty 5 & 6 year-old kindergarteners who helped in making their wedding day so special.

Larry was known to all as a man who dearly loved his family.  He enjoyed going fishing and golfing with his boys.  He was an avid golf ball hunter and enjoyed being a coach for baseball, softball, and football.  He was a friend to all and loved talking to people.  He liked mowing his yard and being at home.  He was a member of the Georgetown Friends Church, the Georgetown Lions Club, and volunteered with Faith in Action.  As was his giving nature, Larry chose to be an organ donor.  His legacy will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held at 10:00am, Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, located at 200 E West St, with Pastor Ben Skinner officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, August 26, 2019, at the funeral home.  Larry had requested that everyone dress casual.  He will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville.  Memorial donations may be given in his name to the Carle Cardiac Department or Georgetown Friends Church.  Please join his family in sharing memories through his Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
