Timothy Edwin Stutler, 70, of Covington, Indiana, left this life and met his Lord and Savior in Heaven on June 30, 2021, at Ascension St. Vincent Heart Center, Carmel, IN. He was born on September 16, 1950, in Danville, Illinois.
He will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Gwen {Furr} Stutler; their two lovely children, Beth (Brian) Delp and Becky (Chad) Dodson; their four wonderful grandchildren who were his world, Clayton Dodson, Brayden Delp, Brantley Delp, & Braxton Delp; and his five ‘grandpuppies’, Copper, Bo, Opie, Boomer, & Blitzen; his sister, Linda Cornett; his niece, Cindy (Jake) Nelson; one great nephew, Drake Nelson; and one great niece, Draycee Nelson. He is also survived by many friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester & Kathryn Stutler; his grandparents, Austin & Pearl Stutler, Clyde & Helen Marble; and ‘grandpuppies’, Buster, Brutus, Bear, Scout, Lady, & Remi.
Timothy left this world surrounded by his wife and two daughters by his side. He had to talk to his grandkids and sister before passing.
He graduated from North Vermilion High School in 1969. He earned his Associates degree in John Deere Diesel Mechanics and then worked for Marble Machine for 39 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & riding motorcycles back in the day. He loved anything John Deere. He also loved watching Hallmark movies on Saturday night with his loving wife, Gwen. Timothy also enjoyed watching the Food Network, especially Diner Drive In & Dives at naptime with his daughter. He also enjoyed talking with Brian on how they can build things or make it better and talking tractors & guns with Chad & Becky. He loved and cherished the time he spent with his grandkids.
A celebration of Timothy’s life will be held at 10:30am (EST), Tuesday, July 6, 2021, at Maranatha Baptist Church, 1111 Harrison Street, Covington, IN, 47932 with Pastor Jones officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00pm-8:00pm (EST), Monday, July 5, 2021, at the Church. He will be laid to rest in Hicks Cemetery, Perrysville, IN. Memorial donations may be given in his name to Maranatha Baptist Church.
