Shane A. Norton

Shane A. Norton, 37, of Danville completed his physical journey on earth on Saturday, November 13, 2021. He was born in Danville, IL on May 4, 1984, the son of William and Holly Norton.

Shane is survived by his parents, William and Holly Norton, son, Tyler Norton, brother, Neil (Shelly) Norton, half-brothers, Eric and Carl Hill, niece, Isabella Norton, maternal grandfather, Donald Liggett, paternal grandmother, Idamae Lippert, uncle, Danny (Trina) Liggett and several cousins.

Shane graduated from Danville High School class of 2002 and later attended Danville Area Community College where he completed the HVAC program with honors. He was a proud father and truly loved spending time with his son Tyler and grandfather Donald. In his spare time Shane also enjoyed listening to music and watching his favorite teams, Illini and the Chicago Cubs. He will be deeply missed by his parents, son, grandparents, and fiancé Jennifer Morgan.

In honor of Shane’s wishes his family has called upon the care of Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 to follow through with his cremation. A private gathering will be held at a later date to honor Shane’s life.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent in Shane’s name to Salt Fork Athletics Dept. or the Hoopeston Animal Shelter.
