Rosemary Hunt Obituary

     Rosemary Hunt, 93, of Covington, Indiana, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021, at her apartment.  She was born on November 14, 1927, the daughter of Thomas Clifford and Marvel {Osborn} Martin.  She was first wed to Paul Harry Knowles on June 8, 1946 until his passing.  She was later married to Robert Raymond Hunt on December 20, 1951, until his passing.
     Rosemary is survived by her children, Carolyn Sue (Manny) Cibrian, Kenneth Harry (Pam) Knowles, Robert Dean (Cindy) Hunt, Raquel Rosemary (Mike) Stultz, & Ruthann Marvel Hunt Willis; her 16 grandchildren; her 33 great grandchildren; and her brother, Harold Martin.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; her brothers Bill Martin & Thomas Martin; and two sisters, Marjorie Sims & Margaret Bogart-Walters.
     Rosemary graduated from Covington High School in 1946.  She was a member of the Covington United Methodist Church, Tri Kappa, Rural Troy Extensions Homemakers, Covington Woman’s Club, and the United Methodist Women.  She loved to spend time with the “The Silly Seven” and her group self-named “The Breakfast Club.”  Rosemary was a caring and loving homemaker who thought comfort foods were important and needed to be homemade, especially her noodles and angel food cake.  She was always giving of her time and love especially for her family and cherished the time she spent with them together. 
     A celebration of Rosemary’s life will be held privately with arrangements being handled by Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Covington, Indiana 420 3rd St. Covington, Indiana 47932 with Pastor Mason Shambach officiating.  A public Memorial Service will be held at a later date.  She will be laid to rest in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN.  Memorial donations may be given in her name to Covington United Methodist Church, 419 Washington Street, Covington, IN 47932.  Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
