Robert "Bob" Beauvois Obituary

            Robert “Bob” A. Beauvois, 75, of Oakwood, IL passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 at Carle Hospital in Urbana. He was born May 31, 1946 the son of Allen and Lucille Beauvois.      

            Robert will be sadly missed by his daughters Jeanie Curry of Urbana and Jodi Lane of Oakwood. In addition, Robert will be missed by his grandchildren Abani Lane of Georgetown and Jarad Beauvois of Oakwood; as well as four great-grandchildren Caidyn Kilbury, Jayce Kilbury, Breighton Lane, and Arian Lane of Danville. Preceding him in death were his parents, Allen and Lucille Beauvois; son, John Beauvois; wife Norma Beauvois; and grandson Bobby Curry.

            Robert worked for many years as an auto mechanic, including Sears & Courtesy Ford in Danville. Through the years Robert has enjoyed riding his motorcycle and ATV, as well as fixing things around the house, yardwork, fixing his daughters’ vehicles, and anything he could utilize his tractor for, that he was so proud of. In addition, he was always there to lend a helping hand to his friends and family.

            Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm at the Sunset Funeral Home at 105 East South Main Street, Oakwood, IL. A commemoration of Robert’s life will begin at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Danville.
