Patsy (Goble) Weaver

Patsy (Goble) Weaver, 69, passed away on Friday, May 28, 2021 at her home in Danville surrounded by loved ones. She was born on March 16, 1952 the daughter of Dorothy and Raymond Goble in Danville, IL.

Patsy will be missed by her husband, Kevin Weaver; brothers, Gary Goble, Keith (Norma) Goble, Tim (Penny) Goble, Steve (Nancy) Goble, and Mark (Arlene) Goble; children, Melanie (Kevin) Siddens, Paul Weaver, and Lesley (Sara) Weaver; grandchildren, Jordan (Michelle) Weaver, Jasmine Siddens, Joellyn Weaver, Abigail Siddens, EmmaLee Siddens, Jack Siddens, Kaleb (Kylie) Weaver, Dalton (Kyrsten) Weaver, Karley Weaver/Blake Douglass, Zack Thomas, Aaron Weaver, and Meagan Weaver; great-grandchildren Reagan, Grant, Isaac, Owen, Levi, and Waylon; as well as her nieces, nephews, and many others.

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Goble; mother, Dorothy Hawkins Goble, and brothers, Raymond Goble Jr. and “Gene” Goble.

Although she did some work outside the home, her most rewarding job was being a wife, mother, aunt, and grandmother. She enjoyed time spent with her friends and family, woodworking, crafting, and cooking. Her mom called her Trisha Joann, but her dad called her Patsy, and it stuck. So, most people knew her as Patsy, Aunt Patsy, or even Grandma Patsy. But only one called her Pat, and they were married in November of 1971, just shy of 50 years. That is her most treasured accomplishment.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834. Officiating will be Pastor Miles Clark. Per Patsy’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded following the service. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
