Pamela Hill Obituary

69-year-old Pamela E Hill died at 9:45 pm on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at her home in rural Catlin surrounded by her husband and children.

Pamela was born on August 30, 1954 in Lafayette, IN to Kenneth “Rex” Kendrick and Carolyn Sutton. She attended Purdue University.  She had two children, Tyler and Devon, with whom she shared an intense love of animals and nature. She enjoyed Real Estate and worked as a closing agent for a time. Pamela was the office manager for Thermo Techniques for over 15 years and later worked at Quaker Oats where she met her husband Hugh Hill. The two were wed in November 2005.

Pamela is remembered for her unwavering love for all animals. She regularly volunteered for rescue and transport organizations. Pam had a special place in her heart for animals in need, especially those with special needs or those considered unadoptable.  Over the years, she adopted many animals herself and gave them their forever home.

Pamela is survived by her husband, Hugh Hill, of Catlin; two children, Tyler Millis and Devon Millis both of Phoenix, AZ; one grandson, Cayo Ledesma; two sisters, Mindy Eggert and Eve Spencer, both of the Branson, MO area.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Rex, and her mother, Carolyn.
