Miriam W. Hollingsworth

Miriam Wanita Hollingsworth, 86, of Danville passed away at 12:40am on June 26, 2020. She was born in Hesper, Iowa on July 28, 1933 the daughter of Cyril and Mary Rowe.

Miriam is survived by her son, Greg (Pamela) Hollingsworth of Ann Arbor, MI; daughter, Julie (Robert) Schafer of Senoia, GA; brother, Ronald (Linda) Rowe; sister, Esther (Bill) Harmon; grandchildren, Ryan, Jason and Jeff Hollingsworth; great-grandchildren, Owen and Isla Hollingsworth; nieces, OsaGay (Harmon) McMahon, Rene’ (Rowe) Anderson; nephew, Scott Harmon and several grand nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Cyril and Mary Rowe and brother, Herbert Rowe.

Miriam was a member of the Danville First Church of the Nazarene as well as the Christian Women’s Organization of Danville. She was an animal lover and enjoyed spending time with her pets. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Cremation will take place with a burial at Hopewell Cemetery in Quaker, IN at a later date. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements.
