Margaret Bryant

Margaret Bryant, 86, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana. She was born on August 2, 1933 the daughter of Ester (Shorlee) and William Mohr in Chicago, IL. She married Robert E. Bryant I on June 6, 1952. Margaret's parents and husband precede her in death along with one brother and a son in law.

Margaret leaves behind two sons, Robert E. (Debra) Bryant II, William F. (Sandy Morgan) Bryant; three daughters, Susan E. Lyman, Deborah M (Michael) Blue, and Kathy M. (Marvin) Stevens; ten grandchildren, Bryan, Denise, Jennifer, Jeffrey, Amanda, Nicole, Andrea, Brandon, Ashely, and Melissa; as well as fifteen great grandchildren.

Margaret owned and operated Marg's Café on Henning road for over 35 years. Some of her hobbies and passions include cooking, baking, decorating cakes, sewing, and camping. She especially loved her family. She was always active in PTA while her children were growing up and she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed dearly by her family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Oakwood, Illinois 105 East S. Main St. Oakwood, Illinois 61858. Officiating will be Pastor Patti Wise. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held the evening prior on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
