Loretta Sbertoli Obituary

Loretta “Lore” Sbertoli, 78, of Tilton, IL passed away peacefully at her home on November 27, 2022.

Loretta was born on January 14, 1944 the daughter of Clell and Lois (Gilroy) Emory in Danville, IL. She was united in marriage to Ronald W. Sbertoli on June 16, 1962 at St Mary’s of the Angles in Chicago, IL and he preceded her in death on August 27, 2018.

Those that will miss her are one daughter, Deneen of Danville, IL, three grandchildren, Tayler (Will Towell), Dalton (Tiffany) Rich and Madyson (Ben Dowers), one great grandson, Emmett Rich all of Danville, IL and her sister, Karen (Danny) Drollinger of Henry, IL.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ronald, and her daughter, Gina.

Loretta was a member of St Paul’s Catholic Church, and she enjoyed scrapbooking, word puzzles, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandson.

The family would like to Thank Cheri, Michelle, Peggy, Angie and the entire Carle Hospice Team for all of their help, support and compassion in taking care of Loretta.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday December 5, 2022 at St Paul’s Catholic Church, 1303 N Walnut Street, Danville, Illinois 61832. Father Szydlik will officiate.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2-4:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Westville, Illinois 414 S State St. Westville, Illinois 61883 with a Prayer Service at 1:30 PM prior to visitation.

Memorial may be made in Loretta’s memory to St Paul’s Catholic Church.
