Linda Bales Obituary

Linda L. Bales, 76, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021. She was born in Danville on October 29, 1944, the daughter of John and Edna Cohoon.

Linda is survived by her children, John (Zannetta) Haussy, Edna (Kevin) Staley, Leslie (Cathy) Roark, Lynn (Danny) Taylor, sister, Vicky Haussy, ten grandchildren, three step grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three special nieces, Burma K. Thomas, Tamara Knight and Amy Haussy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Linda enjoyed crocheting, reading, playing triominos and cards, and spending time with her church family. She loved the Green Bay Packers, watching wrestling, holidays with her family and the colors of fall and we most definitely can't forget owls and roosters. She touched the lives of everyone that met her and will be missed by many

Memorial donations may be made in Linda’s name to the Dialysis Association for Calciphylaxis research.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date for family and friends. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with arrangements.
