Karen Osborn Obituary

            Karen Sue Osborn, 79, of Danville passed away on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at her home with her family by her side. Karen, also loving referred to as “Uma” by her family, was born December 4, 1941 in Danville the daughter of Doris Pichon and Daniel Cortapassi. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a younger sister, Theresa.

            She is survived by her husband Carl Osborn, daughter Carla (Dan) Dubois, son Dave (Chastity) Osborn, and grandkids Mayce, Cale, Cruz, and Dayton. She is also survived by her brother Dan (Joann) Cortapassi. She was loved and adored by so many.

            Karen was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed being outdoors and taking care of her yard, especially mowing.

            A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm and Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion Street, in Danville. A celebration of Karen’s life will take place following the visitation at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the OSF Bobette Steely Hegeler Cancer Care. A gathering for family and friends will take place at a later date.
