Donna Jackson

     Donna Jackson, 91, of Georgetown, passed away at 7:21pm, Monday, May 9, 2022, at her home.  She was born on December 25, 1930, in Georgetown, the daughter of Omer and Gladys {Strader} Richardson.  She was united in marriage to Roy Jackson on September 9, 1950, until his passing on March 13, 2001.
     Donna will be missed by her children, Randy (Kim) Jackson, Laura Guthrie, Mark (Cindy) Jackson, all of Georgetown, and Gary (Kathy) Jackson of Vermilion Grove; her grandchildren, Jeremy Jackson, Nick Jackson, Jacob Jackson, Shannon Guthrie, Justin Guthrie, Sara Spesard, Lacy Leeman, Niki Jackson, & Kenny Snook; her great grandchildren, Ashton, Alyssa, Ashley, Brittany, Austin, Hannah, Raylan, Dixie, Gavin, Ashlyn, Madie, Calen, Kenslee, Lane, Riley, & Jaxson; her great-great grandchildren, Nova, Philip, Clayton, Zoey, & Maxwell; and many nieces & nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Dennis Jackson; her siblings, Otis, Jerry, & June; and her son-in-law, Brad Guthrie.
     Donna worked for the Georgetown School District at Pinecrest Elementary as a cook for many years.  She loved to crochet, cook, and take care of her flowers.  She especially cherished time she spent talking with her good friend, Audrey Witherspoon.  She will be dearly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
     A private family graveside service will be held at Forest Park Cemetery, Georgetown, Illinois.  The family has entrusted her arrangements to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
