David W. Bartley

     David W. Bartley, 61, of Georgetown, passed away at 7:45pm, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana, IL.  He was born in Danville, IL, on December 4, 1960, the son of Buford and Hazel {Strode} Bartley.
     He was first married to Michelle Vaught until her passing in 2005 and together they had four sons.  He was later wed to Tawna Hess, "his sweet young bride", on September 22, 2007.  She will miss him dearly.
     He will also be missed by his sons, Russell W., Joshua D., Matthew J., & Dylan L.; his grandchildren, Tollin, Ansley, Colin, Laci, Nolan, Damien, & Jaxx.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jack.
            David worked for Housing Authority of Champaign County for 22 years as a Maintenance Manager.  He enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, and fishing.  He also like to go riding on his motorcycle and loved going on ocean cruises.  Above all else, he loved spending time with family.
     A Visitation for family and friends will begin at 4:00pm with a reading of his Eulogy at 6:00pm with visitation continuing until 8:00pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E.
