July 12, 1957 ~ November 11, 2021 (age 64)

Obituary

Connie Jean Steelman-Rienbolt, 64, of Georgetown, passed away at 2:17am, Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital, Terre Haute, Indiana, and went to meet her Savior in Heaven.  She will be welcomed there with great joy by her parents, Burnell & Betty Steelman; two grandchildren, Dontae & Nirvana; her brother, Kenny Steelman; and her nephew, Matthew Steelman.
Connie was born on July 12, 1957, in Danville, IL.  She graduated from Georgetown High School in 1975 and has lived in the area for the rest of her life.  She married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Jim Rienbolt, on December 13, 1975.  He survives.
Also surviving is their daughter, Jamie Lynn Arnett; grandchildren, Ashdon, Maddax, & Dalton; her sisters, Judie Carlton & Joyce (Don) Coon; and her brother, Keith (Sheila) Steelman.
Connie was a lifetime member of the Olivet Church of the Nazarene where she devoted her time to many ministries including Sunday School Superintendent, Church Board, and Women’s Ministries.  She got the most joy from coordinating Vacation Bible School and working with teens in the Church.  Connie had a kind and graceful heart which had a lasting impact on the lives of the many of the youth she ministered to over the years.
Connie loved spending time with her grandchildren and preserving memories by taking pictures of them.  In her spare time, she enjoyed feeding her birds and chickens, working in her flower gardens, and hunting for a good garage sale.  Her favorite pastime was scrapbooking pictures of her family.  Friends and family will fondly remember her themed backyard parties and her love of playing Bunco.
A celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 3:00pm, Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Olivet Church of the Nazarene, 5054 Olivet Road, Georgetown, IL 61846 with Pastor James Blue officiating.  Visitation will be 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Saturday prior to her service at the Church.  As per her wishes, she will be accorded cremation rites.  Her family has entrusted Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846 with her arrangements.  Please join her family in sharing memories through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
