Connie R. (Pearson) Davis

     Connie R. Davis, 72, of Danville, passed away at 2:43pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2020, at her home.  She was born on October 26, 1947, in Paris, IL, the daughter of Vance and Evelyn {Sims} Pearson, both deceased.  She was united in marriage to Leland Davis on March 22, 1993, until his passing on March 16, 2019.

     She will be missed by:  her son, John (Melissa) Loop of Cleveland, OH; her daughter, Christy Loop of Georgetown; her brother, Steven (Chere) Pearson of Clinton, IN; her sister, Virginia Denton of Normal, IL; her grandchildren, Megan (Blake Berenz) Loop, Laura Loop, & Julie Loop; her great grandchild, Kacey Loop Berenz. 

     Connie worked as a realtor and was a broker/owner of Loop Real Estate that opened in 1975 then Connie Davis Realty in Danville for many years.  Connie made many friends with her former clients.  She also served as president of the Danville Area Board of Realtors in 1995.  She enjoyed playing card games, reading true crime stories.  She loved her family and cherished spending time with them. 

     A Memorial Celebration of Connie’s life will be held at 1:00pm, Sunday, February 16, 2020, at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Georgetown, Illinois 200 E. West St. Georgetown, Illinois 61846.  Visitation will be held 10:00am to 1:00pm on Sunday prior to the service at the funeral home.  She was accorded cremation rites as per her wishes.  She will be laid to rest in Crown Hill Cemetery.  Memorial donations may be given in her name to Vermilion County Animal Shelter or to Breast Cancer Research.  Please join her family in sharing memories through his Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
