Charlotte R. Quick

Danville - Charlotte R. Quick, 81, of Danville passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Pleasant Meadows Senior Living in Chrisman. She was born in Rossville, IL on April 6, 1939 the daughter of Vera (Weaver) and Howard Dice.

Charlotte is survived by her daughter Annette (Tim) Fleck and son Byron (JoAnn) Quick; grandchildren Michael (Liz), Robert (Michelle), Jason (Dixa) Fleck, Meghan Quick, and Brian Long; and great-grandchildren Afton, Brooklyn, Noel, and Hannah. She was looking forward to the arrival of another great-grandchild expected in November of this year. She is also survived by her brothers Ron (Liz), Don (Judy), and Daniel (Linda) and several nieces and nephews. She loved being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her aunt and uncles, and a special aunt, Nadine Odle.

Charlotte graduated from Bismarck High School. She had previously been married to Robert Quick and together they raised two children. She worked at R & S Printing for 40 years before their closing in 1998. She then worked at Thyssen Krupp (Presta) until her retirement in 2004.

Charlotte loved country gospel music and western shows. She would always go to Wallace, Indiana to enjoy country dancing. She had many fond memories of her experiences traveling through her lifetime, most notably to Germany and Hawaii.

A service to celebrate the life of Charlotte Quick will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 10, 2020 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834. Pastor Sam Eddy will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, July 9, 2020 also at Sunset in Danville. She will be laid to rest at Walnut Corner in Bismarck. Memorials may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
