Charles "Chuck" Hamilton III

              Charles “Chuck” Hamilton III, 44, of Danville passed away June 13, 2022 at OSF Sacred Heart Hospital in Danville. He was born November 19, 1977 in Danville to parents Vicki and Charles Hamilton, Jr. His mother preceded him in death.

            He is survived by his father Charles “Chuck” Hamilton, Jr., his daughter Zoie Hamilton and son Robin Hamilton, and his sister Samantha (William) Elliott. He also leaves behind his nieces and nephews Austin Ewing, Mercedes Elliott, Lexus Elliott, Brooke Hamilton, and William (Kierra) Elliott Jr., and great-nephews Carter and Billy III.

            Chuck could usually be found reading, drawing, or listening to music in his spare time. He was a lover of WWE, the St. Louis Cardinals, and the Miami Dolphins. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Catlin and the Danville First Assembly Church, and participated in the Royal Rangers. He was an avid collector of all things Batman.

            A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, located at 3940 N. Vermilion St., in Danville. A graveside service will take place following at 1:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Park, where Chuck will be placed to rest with many generations of grandparents.
