Cameron A. Cheuvront

Cayuga, Ind. - Cameron A. Cheuvront, 16, of Cayuga passed away at 10 a.m. EDT Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Union Hospital Clinton emergency room due to injuries sustained from an auto accident.

He was born November 7, 2005 in Danville, Illinois the son of Lacey L. Johnson Puzey and Ty A. Cheuvront.

Survivors include his mother: Lacey L. (Dustin) Puzey of Fairmount, Illinois; father: Ty A. (Nikki) Cheuvront of Cayuga, Indiana; siblings: Cierra Cheuvront and Savannah Cheuvront; step-siblings: Layla Strubberg and James Strubberg; maternal grandparents: Barbara (John) Crain and Ray (Betty) Johnson; paternal grandparents: Mark Cheuvront and Carla (Dennis) Naylor; aunts and uncles: Tony (Sarah) Cheuvront, Taylor (Michael) Wheeling and Buster (Jami) Naylor, cousins: Cade Cheuvront, Carsyn Cheuvront, Emily Wheeling, Michael Wheeling, Callie Naylor and Evan Naylor; girlfriend: Kyleigh Julick, and best friend: Jerome White.

Cameron was a Sophomore at North Vermillion High School. He was a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church in Danville, Illinois and the North Vermillion F.F.A.. He was currently playing baseball, and also participated in wrestling and basketball. Cameron enjoyed fishing, riding his dirt bike and hanging out with his many friends. Cameron loved animals. He enjoyed making people laugh. He was a friendly kid that enjoyed hugging anyone he saw. Cameron felt that everyone was his best friend!

Funeral services: 3 p.m. EDT Monday, May 16, 2022 at the North Vermillion High School gymnasium; Officiating: Kevin Cox; Burial: Eugene Cemetery in Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: Sunday, May 15, 2022 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. EDT at the North Vermillion High School gymnasium. Contributions may be made to the Parke/Vermillion Humane Society, 1884 South State Road 63, Hillsdale, Indiana 47854 or to the North Vermillion High School F.F.A., 5555 North Falcon Drive, Cayuga, Indiana 47928.
