Amy Heidbrider Obituary

Amy Rose (High) Heidbrider, 58, of Cayuga, Indiana, passed away at 11:15pm, Friday, January 13, 2023, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on May 16, 1964, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Kenneth High and Donna Bush.  She was united in marriage to Mark Heidbrider on January 8, 1983.  He will miss her dearly.
She will also be missed by her mother, Donna Ellis; her father, Kenneth (Shari) High; her children, Kylie Gene Heidbrider (Levi Looney) and Keri Lynn Heidbrider (Joe Kinneer), both of Cayuga; her grandchildren, Kaidyn Heidbrider and Tanner O’Toole; her siblings, Kenneth “Buddy” Eugene (Wendy) High II and Kenna Gene (George) Hinote; her many nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her good friends, Rhonda Lacey and Alice Haun.  She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jim Ellis.
Amy was a loving person and a wonderful caregiver.  She cared for her grandparents at the age of 18 years old, and her mother for the past 6 years.  She cherished being a wife, mother, and granny to Kaidyn and Tanner, and was always willing to help make them smile.  She enjoyed going shopping, making floral arrangements, crafting, sewing, and drawing. Many knew her to be very artistic and creative.  She took pride in keeping a tidy home, raising beautiful flowers, and showing her love and kindness to both her friends, family, and even strangers. Amy was employed for 26 years at Heritage Products in Crawfordsville, IN until her cancer diagnosis. She was a hard worker, a loyal friend, and will be remembered by all who knew and loved her for her sweet and kind heart.
As per her wishes, she will be accorded cremation rites. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 1-3pm at the Cayuga American Legion. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in her name be made to the Parke-Vermillion County Humane Society, or to the family to offset expenses. Her arrangements were entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center, DeVerter Chapel, 215 N. Division Street, Cayuga, IN  47928.   Please join her family in sharing memories, photos, and videos through her Tribute Wall at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com.
