Pet Services
Animals are wonderfully agreeable friends. They ask so little of us, and give so much love in return. When it comes time for you to let go of your animal companion, making the decisions on how to care for their physical remains can be heart-wrenching.
Many families have the option of burying their small family pet in their back yard. When this is your choice, we suggest that you create a memorial celebration of their life, and of your love. Together with children, neighbors, friends; light a candle, say a prayer, or tell favorite stories of your pet. Make it an occasion to remember.
If this option is not for you, and you are looking for something a little different, we are here to help. We offer a wide variety of services that will help you to find the final resting place suitable for your cherished companion.

Pet Transfer
Many times when a pet dies, the family is left wondering what to do next. We will come to the place of death, whether at your home or a local vet, and bring your pet into our care. We will then set up arrangements to have your pet buried or cremated, whichever you prefer.

Pet Burial
Our “Cherished Companions” section at Sunset Memorial Park is the perfect spot for those families seeking permanent memorialization for their pet. We offer a wide variety of pet caskets, as well as bronze grave markers to cover your pets’ grave and give those left behind a place to visit. Our caskets come in a wide variety of sizes, and our bronze markers can be personalized with photos and text to fit your needs. Allow our staff to help you design the perfect, serine resting place for your cherished companion.

Cremation
Although we don’t offer cremation of animals through our funeral home, our caring staff will not only remove your pet from his or her place of death, but we will also transport your furry friend to the veterinarian or pet crematory of your choice. We can also make arrangements to pick up the cremated remains and return them to you in a proper urn. Our staff will do anything we can to make the process of losing a pet easier for you, the family.
